One of the advantages of the statistical services compared to the downloadable statistics software is that they usually have very powerful server resources to handle all the tracking requests of their customers. When you use such services you effectively outsource the server resources required to gather and process your statistics, thus unloading your own server from these tasks. But even statistical services will run out of resources if they will give you access to the real-time statistics. We have found a compromise solution for this. Stuffed Tracker gives you an option to prepare the reports in advance -- when your site has the smallest number of visitors and your server has the smallest load. At the same time, even when this feature is switched on, the visitor paths report and all other log reports are stil available to you in real-time, thus you always have access to the latest real-time data.
Stuffed Tracker can do even more! It will notice if any particular reports are used more often then others and will start preparing them in shorter intervals. As a result, the data in such reports will always me recent (as close to real-time as possible). We call this feature Smart Caching.
