To update your Stuffed Tracker installation with a newer version you only need to upload the changed files to your server (overwriting any old ones) and then go to the tracker's control panel. Stuffed Tracker will automatically detect the presence of the new version files and will ask you to go though several simple steps to complete the update*.
The whole updating process usually takes less then a minute.
* Please note, that sometimes a new version of the tracker requires an update to the structure of some of the database tables. If that tables have a lot of data in them already, an update through the web interface might not be possible due to a script timeout setting in your PHP. In this case, Stuffed Tracker will advise you to run a special script directly on the server. We highly recommend to follow the tracker's advice.
